I love travelling, period! I have travelled many countries with my family, taking different routes. Very few trips, however, can compare to this recent boat trip along the coastline of Turkey and Greece. Being able to explore these countries from the sea, gives an entirely different perspective from what is usually seen when travelling by land.
We booked the yacht charter through a boat rental company called In Cloud Sailing. The yacht turned out quite nice, in great condition and with enough space. Along with the yacht charter we had to hire a crew to take us on the trip. As it turned out later, the crew was not just professional and well-trained – along the way they shared their wealth of boat sailing knowledge with us, which made our trip extremely interesting and a great educational experience.
Thanks to the chef we were able to enjoy proper meals amidst the elements of the nature. We loved the food and found the entire crew very attentive in serving our needs. Because of the team’s friendly service, we didn’t have to step up and serve ourselves, we literally had everything served to us and enjoyed a relaxing time. Cabins, heads, salon, the deck – all were neat and clean. The kitchen had most of the vital kitchen appliances, though we didn’t really use them ourselves. Our belongings were secure, we were safe and that’s why we enjoyed the trip to the fullest.
As to the trip planning, the In Clouds team’s response was always prompt, and also they were the first company to get back to us with a detailed response after we reached out to several companies about the yacht charter. They helped us determine the route and select the most suitable boat that fit our plans and budget. So our yacht expectations were actually exceeded due to the excellent yacht choice and advice by the In Cloud Sailing team. Their expertise was available at no additional cost, and we found their approach perfect for family trips. And even if you travel alone, the team and the crew are likely to make you feel comfortable, almost just like at home. So, having a well-planned route and a professional as well as friendly crew on board benefited our trip a lot. It won’t be easy to find a better fully crewed yacht charter or bareboat service, take our word.
